Ever since I was a kid I have wanted to visit Disneyland. I used to bring the newspaper adverts out to my mother when she was gardening and tell her of the fantastic deal that could get the family to the happiest place on earth, but alas my Mother would tell me that we couldn’t afford it. I used to hold out to watch ‘The Wonderful World of Disney’ on a Sunday night, but my Father would want to watch the football so I’d usually miss out. How hard done by was I? LOL. Not really, but I did vow as an 8 year old that when I grew up and had my own house that there would never ever be football on my tv, and you know what, to this day that is true but sadly ‘The Wonderful World of Disney’ isn’t on anymore!
So with that said, no trip to Los Angeles could possibly be complete without a trip to Disneyland. And I can’t think of any other family that I’d like to share my first experience with than my wonderful friends The Baxters. David, Kim, April and Rain are Disneyland nuts, they go all the time, they have yearly passes that is how much they love this place, so when I told them I wanted to go and would they please escort me they jumped at the chance. We had driven from Vegas the night before, and when I say the night before I mean the morning of, we arrived in San Diego at 5am, slept for 4 hours and then went to LA to have some fun.
I LOVED this place, I loved the rides, the shops, the flowers, the lights and of course the characters. My only wish, that I could have stayed longer!
Here are some of my favourite photos from the day. Props to David for the photos of me acting like a big kid

Thanks Ohana for a fabulous time!
