Jaymie, Jose and Jayden!

Last week I had the pleasure of taking some family portraits for Jaymie, Jose and Jayden.  This adorable family had flown up from Melbourne to have a portrait session with me and wanted to capture as much of Sydney in their portraits as they could.  So, what better way to capture Sydney than to go to the Botanic Gardens with the Harbour Bridge and Opera House in the background!

The weather leading up to their session had been a little touch and go, and at one point I wasn’t even sure if we’d be able to do the session (which would have been a tragedy considering they had flown all that way just to see me) but thankfully the rain held off and we were able to spend a few hours getting to know each other. Master Jayden was so adorable, his face lit up every time Jose played airplanes with him.  I fell truly blessed to have wonderful clients like this family, to know that they enjoy my work so much that they travel to see me makes my heart melt.

Jaymie and Jose, I hope these photos are everything you dreamed they would be, I can’t wait to show you the rest :)

As it’s November I’m a bit obsessed with getting Jacaranda’s into my shots.  I LOVE these trees ;)
